About Municipal Court

The Bee Cave Municipal Court handles Class C misdemeanors and city ordinance violations that occur within the city limits of Bee Cave. These cases may include traffic violations, alcohol-related offenses, minor theft, and other low-level offenses established under state law or city ordinance.

    • Pretrial dockets begin at 8:30 am

About Judge SheehanImage of Judge Farren Sheehan

Ms. Farren Sheehan is a Central Texas native. She obtained her B.A. from Southern Methodist University and graduated cum laude from Tulane Law School in 1997. Following law school, Ms. Sheehan worked as a Public Defender in Dallas County where she gained extensive courtroom experience. Afterwards, she returned to the Austin area to open a private practice.

Over the past 20 years, her focus has primarily included estate planning, real estate, civil litigation and probate (" death and dirt" ) law. Ms. Sheehan is a presenter for statewide Continuing Legal Education courses and has published articles for the State Bar of Texas. She has also served as both planning committee member and Course Director for Intermediate Estate Planning.

In 2019, Ms. Sheehan was appointed to be the Presiding Judge for the City of Bee Cave.
