The City Manager’s Office provides leadership and general administration for the City of Bee Cave, implementing the policies and directives established by the City Council. The City Manager serves as the chief administrative officer of the City and reports directly to the Mayor and City Council. The office oversees daily operations, coordinates the activities and functions of all city departments, manages the budget development and implementation process, and leads strategic efforts to plan for the City’s continued growth and future needs.

Julie Oakley joined the City of Bee Cave as City Manager in April 2024. She has more than a decade of municipal leadership experience, including 12 years with the City of Lakeway, where she served in several key roles including City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and Director of Finance.

After leaving Lakeway in 2022, Julie joined KPMG as a Manager in Advisory, State and Local Solutions, providing expertise in government operations and financial management.

Julie’s leadership has contributed to Bee Cave’s effective fiscal management and responsible budgeting practices. The city earned a AAA bond rating in 2025, the highest credit rating a municipality can receive.

Julie holds a degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Texas Permian Basin and is dedicated to supporting Bee Cave’s mission of delivering high-quality services while planning strategically for the city’s future.

Photo of Christopher BakerChristopher Baker joined the City of Bee Cave as an Assistant City Manager in January 2026. He has a diverse and extensive background in municipal government.

Most recently, Mr. Baker served as the Assistant Community Development Director for the Village of Estero, Florida.

His transition to Bee Cave marks a return to Texas, where he previously served as City Manager for Bridge City. Mr. Baker brings a wealth of knowledge and proven track record of successful project management to the city.

Photo Rebecca RegueiraRebecca Regueira joined the City of Bee Cave as Assistant to the City Manager in November 2022 after earning her degree in Government from the University of Texas.

Since joining the City, Rebecca has taken on several key roles, including Deputy City Secretary, Hotel Occupancy Tax Coordinator, and ADA Coordinator.

Her commitment to public service has made her a valuable and versatile member of the administrative team.
