  • If a nearby library owns the book, we can issue you a TexShare Card that gives you borrowing privileges at participating libraries throughout Texas.
  • If it isn't available with these options, you may request an Interlibrary Loan (books only). Please fill out an ILL REQUEST FORM and turn it in to any staff member. As shown on the form, some types of materials are not eligible for ILL. Please also note that it may take 2 to 3 weeks for materials to arrive.
  • There are two outdoor drop boxes located on the west side of the building, available 24 hours a day.
  • During regular business hours, you may return items in the City Atrium drop box or at the Library Circulation Desk.
  • The library is happy to accept donations if they meet the policy guidelines established by the City Council.
  • Items that we are unable to add to our collection are passed on to other nonprofit organizations.
  • We are unable to accept any donations during June, July and August.
  • You can sign up for a TexShare Card by visiting the library. You must be a patron in good standing. With a valid TexShare Card, you can visit other participating libraries and show your card to get borrowing privileges from that library according to their policies. TexShare Cards expire after one year.
  • You have responsibilities as a TexShare Card holder. The reverse side of the Card has an agreement you must sign and follow. You should become familiar with the policies and restrictions of any lending library you use, as failure to abide by library policies may result in revocation of your borrowing privileges. If a lending library reports that you have lost books or failed to pay fines, your home library may take appropriate action, including suspension of borrowing privileges at your home library and revocation of your TexShare Card.
